Endless Tower, Ragnarok Origin
Introduction
Endless Tower is one of the classic content of the Old PC Ragnarok Online. This is a party content for a group of players who want challenge playing this game, a decent reward will be rewarded as you complete a floor. Its difficulty and rewards scale with floor progress.
Mechanics
At level 55, you will unlock a quest prompting that you are eligible to enter the endless tower. You can enter solo or as a party. Solo is not recommended.
Endless tower is an increasingly difficult set of challenges that was called “Floor”. Max floor can go up to 100 floors, and you can encounter MVP monster on the 5th and 10th floors of every 10 floors.
Their is no time limit but if you manage to finish a floor fast enough, you have a chance to skip farther. A dice will roll for your next floor and max floor skip will be until the next MVP monster floor. You will still obtain the rewards of all the skipped levels
You have an unlimited access to the dungeon, but finished floor for that week will not give you a reward. Your progress can also be save once you reach 1st, 5th, 6th and 10th floors of every 10 floors. Highest floor you can return will be still depends on your party member that has the lowest floor finished.
Respawn will not be available until everyone died. Floor will be reset once everyone died. You can unlimitedly retry the floor until you complete it or decided to give-up.
Rewards are one time claim only per floor in a week. Reset will be at 5:00am GMT +7 on Monday.
Another reward is the 1st Clear Reward, it will be rewarded started on 5th floor and in every 5 floors again. This is one time reward only, will never reset.
Tips And Guide
Before you start your first endless tower, I list down some tips you want to consider in your journey.
Party Composition
A good party composition will lead you to a higher floor.
Full support priest is the most important class you want to have in your party, unless you don’t want to progress farther. It provide a good security going up. It also doesn’t need to have a high divine power to get easily invited. Priest will be always the core of the party, regardless on your equips.
If you really want progress farther, a good Tank Knight will lead you into higher floors. Because of the MVP monster someone that can tank the MVP is neededfull agi build for a higher flee will not really help much on tanking an MVP that is why you want a Vit Tank Knight. They also have a provoke skill to help gather the mobs that can combo with an AOE skill of a Mage class
Mage is also important specially in completing the floor in the most fastest way, since Tank can lure most of the monster and Mage will just do it’s job at casting AOE skills. A good mage also know most of the elemental weakness of most of the monster, this will be a good help in casting the right skill per monster.
For the DPS, you can start looking for Sniper, SinX and Mastersmith. Their goal is to provide a lot of damage specially on the MVP monster. Long range DPS also is a good help protecting your priest.
Strategy
Your tank can lure mobs, follow-up buy the AOE of the mage. Single DPS will focus cleaning and guarding the priest. The Priest should make sure the tank is safe and always on watch, a great rotation on skills will also help specially on long casting skills.
On an MVP floor, clean up normal monster first as much as you can before engaging on the MVP. Sniper can lure mobs that is near on the MVP, clean mobs as much as you can.
On fighting the MVP I would recommend on the mage to constantly cast AOE skill so when the MVP summon monster it will instantly die, gravitational field would be better since it last longer compared to other AOE skills. Knight should consistently use provoke because sometimes MVP change attack.
Things To Bring
You wouldn’t have any problem with this if you have a Kafra VIP, this will provide you a Kafra shop and storage on the Go. Basically a remote access to shop and storage.
Supplies that you might need are
- Blue gemstone for the priest
- Different elements of arrow
- HP and SP potion
- Concentration Potion
- Yggdrasil Leaf in case your priest die
- Holy Water for aspersio
- Poison Bottle for the assassin
- Trap for trapper sniper
- Panacea that can remove almost any status negative effect.
Gears
Nothing in particular regarding the gears, but you want to consider having almost all the race or element cards in your disposal. Or you can have an all around equips or cards.
Always update to the latest gears as you level-up so you can progress to the higher floor.
