Jetina PEN Accessory
Introduction
In June 2021, a new method for obtaining one guaranteed PEN accessory was unveiled at the BDO Heidel Ball. Players can now start a daily quest to obtain the guaranteed Jetina PEN Accessory.
The guaranteed Jetina PEN Accessory path is one that will take some time but is much much cheaper than trying to create or buy a PEN accessory.
New players should start preparing and doing the daily quests as early as possible!
Important Things You Should Know Before You Start:
- You can only create ONE Jetina PEN accessory per account
- You can only choose between a PEN Narc Ear Earring, Tungrad Earring, or Ring of Crescent Guardian
- The Jetina PEN accessory cannot be sold on the market
- You will need to have a character that is level 56+
- This method takes time and preparation, requires a lot of materials, costs a minimum of 6.3 billion silver, and takes a minimum of 45 days. Start preparing as soon as possible.
How To Get Started
To begin, talk to your Black Spirit (,) and accept the quest “A Cry for Help”.
This Quest Will Take You To NPC Jetina And She Will Give You A Follow-On Quest Called “Old Moon Guild’s Trade Offer”
If You Cannot See Any Quests From Jetina, Make Sure All Quests Are Turned ON At The Bottom Of Your Quest Log (O).

Enhancing The Accessory
Base – TET Enhancement:
- Now that you have the base accessory you will need a special type of Black Stone called jetina pen accessory Burning Moonlight Black Stone to enhance it with a 100% success rate.
- Once you have the stones, enhance the accessory through the black spirit.
PEN Enhancement:
- The PEN Enhancement level requires a different black stone called Dancing Moonlight Black Stone.
- To get this black stone, you have to hand over Burning Moonlight Black Stone x110 and TRI (III) Accessory x1 to the NPC Jetina through the “Shining Brighter” quest.
- Make sure to hand over the same accessory as the one you are enhancing to PEN!
- For example: If you are creating a PEN Narc Ear Accessory then you will need a TRI Narc Ear Accessory to exchange with Jetina.
- The TRI accessory must be able to be bought and sold on the central market
Burning Moonlight Black Stones
Burning Moonlight Black Stones are created using Processing (L) > Simple Alchemy.

Jetina Powder Daily Quests
In total, you will need to do 45 daily kill quests to obtain enough powders for the Jetina PEN accessory.
Note that you can only complete one quest per day and the daily reset is at 00:00 UTC.

Old Moon Alchemy Catalyst
The Old Moon Alchemy Catalyst is the only item you must buy and there is no way around the cost because it is fixed at 3.5 million silver each.
You need 1,800 Catalysts in total which costs 6.3 billion silver. However, it is still much cheaper than a PEN accessory would usually cost.
The Catalysts can be bought from Old Moon Managers.
The locations of Old Moon Managers can be found below. You can also use the NPC Finder under ESC Menu > Function > Find NPC and search “Old Moon”.
Swapping Your Accessory
If you have chosen the wrong accessory or would like to swap it at a later date for whatever reason, you can exchange your accessory at Jetina.
- You can only exchange your accessory for FREE two times! After that, you will need to pay 2 billion silver each time to swap the accessory.
- The accessory must be TET or PEN to be exchanged.
- If you have a cup upgrade on the accessory, you will need to extract/remove the cup first.
- The quests will only show if the accessory is unequipped.
If you exchange a PEN accessory, you will be given a Dancing Moonlight Black Stone with the TET accessory of your choice. Use the Dancing Moonlight Black Stone to enhance the TET back up to PEN straight away. This is done so that you can keep your name branded on the accessory.
First Accessory Exchange
One of these quests will be available for you to take, depending on whether your Jetina accessory is TET or PEN.

If you have already exchanged your Jetina accessory once, you can exchange it for FREE one final time by taking the “A New Choice II” quest.

After using your first 2 FREE exchanges, you now have to pay Jetina 2 billion silver (Gold Bar 10,000G x2) each time you want to exchange the Jetina PEN accessory.
