Team Secret will head to Malaysia for ESL One Kuala Lumpur
Revamping their roster after missing The International 2023, Team Secret will begin the new season on an upswing and LAN appearance at ESL One Kuala Lumpur.
Team Secret missed The International 2023, marking Clement “Puppey” Ivanov first absence from the pinnacle of all Dota 2 events since its inception. Eager to ensure this season is more fruitful, the WEU team welcomed back two former teammates —Yeik “MidOne” Nai Zheng and Miroslav “BOOM” Bičan.
Within weeks of forming the new roster, Team Secret has already secured a seat at the first LAN, ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023.
Coming in through the second set of open qualifiers, Puppey and co were immediately knocked into the lower bracket with a devastating 2:0 sweep by OG. Luckily for them, it didn’t damper their spirits. They not only fought through a few rounds, but exacted their revenge on OG with a 2:1 victory before crushing Entity for the remaining WEU slot.
