Assassin Guide, Ragnarok Online. A short Assassin guide that may help you specially on the early stage of the game.
1. Stats
Dual Dagger Build
Basically assassin rely on attack speed and flee in leveling up. The faster you attack, the faster you kill monster.
STR and DEX will still increase because of the bonus stats given by job skill and equipments.
Dual Dagger is not F2P friendly
Sonic Blow / Grimtooth
Sonic Blow Build is good specially for the F2p Player. Advisable to focus your stats on STR since your target is to 1 hit the monster.
The problem with the STR build is you are so squishy. I prefer you have slave priest for 3 mobs spot.
2. Skill Build
Dual Dagger
Dual dagger is the most famous build for assassin specially in the early stage of the game. You can also take the hiding level 10 and skip the back slide.
Red Cut is not advisable if you are not autocasting it. You need the stem worm card to auto cast on normal attack. Skill build will change for your Assassin if you will go on that path.
Sonic Blow / Grimtooth Build
This is also decent build for assassin specially if you don’t want to spend more.
PVP
Dual Dagger and Grimtooth are both good on pvp. However, it will be costly if you are using different weapons on pve and pvp. For the skills you might want to have 10 ENCHANT POISON, 10 VENOS DUST, 5 HIDING RESEARCH, 1 BACKSLIDE and 1 BACKSLIDE HIDING.

3. Headgears
There are a lot of headgears in this game, so you can choose based on the stats.
Priority Stats:
- ATK SPD %
- AGI
- PATK %
- PDMG %
- SKILL CHANCE ON ATTACKE
- STR / LUK
- VIT or DMG REDUCTION
4. Armor
You want to go for Refined Coat at the early game, it’s not expensive to craft

5. Boots And Garment
The refined hood and boots are the recommended for thief.
At level 50, wool scarf and tidal shoes are the best, because of the set effect of physical dmg +3%

6. Accessories
Any of this from different level will do. Will recommend to get Matyr’s leach if you can. Next accessory available will be at level 85.

7. Weapon
You don’t actually have much weapon of choice, until you become level 50 it is prefered to use dagger
Level 50, you can choice if you want to continue using dagger or want to switch to katar. You may also want to consider the limitation of the dagger, same with the katar. Krishna is good when it comes to sonic blow since sonic blow build is f2p friendly.

8. Pets
Healer pet or Tank Pet
9. Feathers
Priority Stats : STR, ATK DMG, IGNORE DEF (if you are dual dagger, ATK Speed). Full Feather guide
10. Leveling Guide
Use fire converter on undead monster, enchant poision for water, wind, earth or fire type monster.
Assassins are less efficient on early grinding and leveling. But best on the later game.
Also try to find a party to level up faster.
