LINE: Monster Rancher launches February 28 in Japan. Mobile monster raising. LINE: Monster Rancher will launch for iOS via App Store and Android via Google Play on February 28 in Japan, LINE Corporation announced.

Pre-registration is currently via available via the aforementioned stores, Twitter, and LINE. The game has currently surpassed over 600,000 pre-registrations.

Here is the game’s story synopsis:

Long ago, scientists’ research led to the establishment of technology to generate monsters via disc stones.

An era in which humans and monsters co-existed arrived, where “Monster Battles” were all the rage among many and monster breeding was the most popular profession.

But on the other hand, a drastic increase in demand led to a disc stone supply draught. It was all but certain that the monsters would reach the end of their life span and disappear completely…

But a new golden age of Monster Battles is on the horizon as researchers discover a new method to generate monsters through “human connection”!

• The Monster Breeding of the Past Returns – Train and strengthen various unique monsters as a new breeder, then aim for victory in tournaments. Pamper your monsters too much and they may fall behind in training—but push them too hard and they may run away! As a breeder, enjoy breeding monsters in your own way while understanding their aptitude and condition.
• Your Favorite Monsters Reborn in the Latest Graphics – Train and battle monsters from Monster Rancher and Monster Rancher 2, reborn in the latest graphics. New monsters unique to LINE: Monster Rancher will also appear.
• Unique New Features – Various new features have been added, such as the ability to send the monsters you breed on expeditions to various locations, as well as form teams of multiple monsters to compete in ranked breeder battles.
• New Monster Generation Methods – Create monsters in a new generation method unique to LINE. More details will be announced at a later date.
